You Should Spread Propaganda

everything you want in life is on the other side of learning to be a master of propaganda

now you may be thinking “woah what the heck alex you want me to spread propaganda?”

listen, I know it has a bad connotation, but all propaganda means is the repeating of a certain message until people believe it’s true (for good or bad)

basically, learning how to influence or persuade people, it’s the number one skill anyone can possess

and I think I’m pretty good at it, I persuaded 160,000 people to follow me on instagram to listen to me yap about software in 1.5 years

40,000 of you read these newsletters and have some interest in what I have to say, and it’s because I’ve studied persuasion and have studied the best marketing campaigns of all time

and when I started making content in 2020 - it was only written content on twitter and I had a newsletter then, but on twitter, I only had 280 characters to get people to take an action

so… I had to get really good at copy writing and persuasion, I had to learn to get my point across quickly

I’ve been writing minimum one newsletter per week for years, so I’ve gotten quite good at writing

so then when I went over to video content, I blew up fast because I knew how to write copy, and how to persuade people, and knew how to speak well

this skill has gotten me my dream life, brand deals, new businesses, gotten me in rooms I have no business being in

being able to put out videos that influence people to take an action is the most powerful skill there is today (and that’s why good creators are paid the big bucks right now)

so here’s how you create propaganda that influences people to give you what I want

let’s use an example of trying to convince your parents to let you drop out of college

their immediate, emotional reaction might be no! absolutely not.

here’s what you need to ask yourself to influence them, “what 2-3 core beliefs must they believe to allow me to drop out”

that you can then provide evidence to enforce those beliefs

let’s say these are the core beliefs

1) You’ll be able to generate income without college

2) You’ll save money by not going into more debt

3) your industry doesn’t require degrees anymore

if you can provide them evidence that affirms these three beliefs, and repeat these messages over and over, that’s how you’d spread propaganda to let your parents drop out

continuously show them your ability to make money, show them the average debt someone takes on (use specific people and stories), and show them specific people that have succeeded in your field with no degree

if you repeat these arguments to them enough, once they believe those 3 points to be true, there’s no reason they wouldn’t let you drop out (unless purely emotional)

I’ll give you a business example now: let’s say we want to make content for create(dot)xyz a text to app builder

here’s the three things people need to believe

1) text to app is a thing that is real and exists (top of funnel, some people aren’t aware)

2) text to app can actually build functional things (middle of funnel)

3) create is the best text to app option (bottom of funnel, show examples of what people have built)

if someone believes these three things, there’s no reason they wouldn’t try create

but so you repeat these top of funnel, middle of funnel, and bottom of funnel messages over time - until eventually, they believe it, and they try create

this is actually what happens - we can also talk about this in conversion cycles - there are many people that follow me, that won’t ever inquire about working with me in any capacity for months to even a year later

because it takes time for me to repeat my messages for them to believe the core beliefs I need them to believe to work with me

listen, this is what marketing is, and when you master it you hold the world in your hands

this translates into every area of your life and getting what you want, literally everything

the ability to learn these principles, and then spread messages through written + video content is the biggest super power that exists right now

and companies are paying big bucks to the propaganda distributors (creators) and I’ve been paid handsomely to do this for myself and for other companies
