You Can Build Software with AI

it’s truly mind blowing how fast AI is advancing… to the point where you can’t ignore it and you’d be a fool to not utilize it

I am not a very technical person, so staying on top of all the latest AI and tech trends hasn’t been necessarily a priority for me, until I started talking to some of my friends

and if you’re like me - you need to start studying this stuff, because you need to know how to position yourself to take advantage of this and not be replaced by it…

and it’s actually funny because I was just with my grandparents and they asked me about AI replacing jobs and if it’s something I worry about

to which I answered, this kind of goes back to the whole “the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer” idea that’s been a tale as old as time

AI is replacing the low to medium skilled labor first, we’re seeing this now with AI agents, and so business owners are able to reduce cost with AI by replacing VA’s and easy labor with AI

but also, software can now build legit full blown software applications…. this is CRAZY

you have tools like cursor, replit, create, bolt, lovable, and so many others that you can leverage for designs, building tools, building software with auth and payments, and so much more…

so what does this mean? Well it means soon most devs will be irrelevant, these tools are getting better extremely quickly, and eventually the only devs needed really will be the ones improving these tools….

so you need to focus on acquiring the #1 currency right now…. attention

attention is the new moat, tech is no longer a moat, if you can get attention, you will not be replaced, and then leverage how easy it is to build tech now and blow up your software or app with your new found skill of getting attention

that’s how Calai blew up, the founders are great at getting attention, this app could legit be built in a day

for those of you who don’t know, CalAI is an app where you take a picture of your food and it uses ai to tell you the macros of what you’re eating

again, the tech isn’t impressive at all, it’s just an ai wrapper that the founders market extremely well with influencers
