how much longer are you going to sit on the sidelines while people are launching new apps every week and growing them to thousands of downloads and thousands of dollars in monthly recurring revenue?
In this email I’m going to give you a few ideas to run with that are already validated and why I’d pick them
1) an app to help people quit alcohol (become sober)
why this is validated: Puffcount was an app to help people quit vaping and it reached $40k monthly recurring revenue
there’s a big trend right now towards being sober and the younger generations quitting alcohol, yet a lot of people can’t just stop cold turkey, so making an app to help them for only $5-$10 per month is helpful to them and it has a viral element
study puffcount and Quittr - look at their marketing, their onboarding flow, and build something similar for quitting alcohol
2) Meditation app
again, there’s tons of examples of these that consistently go viral and make a ton of money, Calm being probably the biggest
and that means it’s validated and you can easily get a piece of the pie, focus on building one feature people care about to start and keep building from there
3) AI Therapist
this could be a web app or mobile app - but I’ve seen one of instagram that goes crazy viral, basically because he trained the ai therapist to talk like gen Z, so it’s funny and goes viral
but some legit other angles is the fact that actual therapy is super expensive so to make an ai therapist and charge $5-$10 per month is an easy impulse decision for people
4) Prayer app
a lot of these are crushing right now, especially with ai animated videos on tik tok
5) sleep apps
a lot of people have a big pain point in falling asleep, so white noise apps / sleep meditations / other things can be very useful to people that have trouble sleeping
the best part? Any of these ideas can be built easily on a no code builder like flutterflow or pretty inexpensively hiring a development team
