This App Reached $260k MRR in 3 Months

This guy Connor built an app called Quittr that helps people quit the black/orange site

in just 3 months, they’ve reached $260k in monthly recurring revenue…. which is absolutely insane

here’s his exact playbook so you can just copy it

1) he’s solving a niche problem that was validated in other niches

people struggle with all sorts of addictions, vaping, weed, alcohol, lust, etc and there’s apps to help people quit all of these that are ALL printing out cash

so he chose one of these to build an app for, the next genius part is the onboarding flow

2) Self Selling Onboarding flow

the onboarding call is like a sales call

it asks you a series of questions about how your addiction is currently negatively impacting your life

lack of energy, depression, bad thoughts, etc

making you REALIZE that you have a legit problem

next it goes into your desired outcome, how would your life change ONCE you beat this addiction

more energy, happier, more productive, etc

next, they show the science & social proof, of how users of their app are statistically more likely to beat their addiction than those doing it on their own, and provides real testimonials to show it works

and finally, it’s a hard paywall (you can’t use app without paying) with a one time big fat discount of like 80% off an annual plan

I don’t know their conversion rate numbers, but I’m sure they’re killer….

3) Traffic

they use bulk performance based creators to drive traffic and get millions of views per month

the playbook for this is to start with 5-10 creators and have them test tons of video styles

• memes

• talking head

• text over screen

• ai ugc avatars

• day in the life videos

• etc

once you find the winning format, rapidly scale to more creators, go to 20-30 the next month, and take your best creators and give them small retainers on top of their commissions

and apps like this are actually pretty simple to make, can be built in 4-8 weeks and can be as little as $5,000 to build and as high as $15,000 depending how complex you want it
