recently someone asked me

“Alex, at what income did you feel financially free?”

and as I thought about it…. it’s not really at an income level

because when you’re self employed - your income fluctuates

and sure, I have enough cash tucked away to not worry about money

but financial freedom and the feeling of “wealth” comes not from a dollar amount, but from these four pillars

I say this because I like to think in worst case scenarios

(the man that sleeps with a machete by his bed is only paranoid until he needs it)

so let’s say I lost it all

net worth is $0

to be honest with you

I wouldn’t even be stressed

Why?

I have multiple skills, sales, outbound sales, copywriting, creating content, etc

I could quickly reach out to people and close them on services for a couple thousand per month

Now I also have my rented content, these are all my socials (IG, YT, X, TT) I don’t own my audience on those platforms - but I could sell my services/products to them

and the content that I put out will continue to grow my top of funnel

no one can take this from me - I own it

Which is a large list that I can offer value to and therefore sell products and services

software - build it once, sell it unlimited times.

yes, you need to add new features, yes, bugs come up, but it’s one of the most leveraged business models

and so - once I had ALL of these things and knew nothing can kill me anymore

then I felt financially free

and it feels amazing and I hope all of you get to experience this
