SaaS Ideas You Can Start TODAY
steal these for yourself
I want to walk you through the software companies I’ve started and see if you can find a recurring theme:
Closify → hiring platform to hire commission only sales people
Trackify → Track your sales teams performance and gamify your sales team
Fastoutreach → AI personalized cold emails to increase reply rate
Zappx → power dialer to make more dials per day with parallel dialing
there’s a lot of recurring themes with each of these ideas… which I won’t touch any idea that doesn’t share these same values
I’ll give you another 30 seconds to think about it…
Did you get it??
All of them do the following:
sell to businesses
make businesses more money
now there’s more such as: charge $50/mo or more but I want to focus on the first two
Closify → hiring good sales people makes businesses more money
Trackify → better sales tracking and gamification = business makes more money
fastoutreach → higher reply rates = more money
zappx → more cold call connections per day = more money
now we can go look at some other wildly successful software companies and see the same principle
rentention(dot)com $20m/yr → they allow you to capture prospects contact info that visit your website without an optin, more prosopects contact info = more money
listkit → database with triple verified leads, better quality leads = more money (they went from 0 to $3m/yr in 1 year)
I could go on and on with examples, the point is, I look for the path with the GREATEST chance at success
I’ve always done this, and I can tell you, these companies are the easiest to grow because it’s such an easy sell when your product makes a business more money
so find a software that exists already, and does well, and create a variation of them but fix a recurring complaint
listkit saw apollo was crushing but people complained their data was crap… they built a solution and now they’re crushing
here’s some idea’s based off this criteria I’d recommend:
outreach tools → linkedin automation, X automation / DM tool, content schedulers (tweethunter / taplio)
prospecting tools → identifying prospects (scraping different platforms, enrichment tools) again, go look at existing prospecting tools and search G2 reviews to find complaints
tracking tools → tools that can better track important metrics (think Hyros) where businesses could be losing money by having improper tracking
the last part I’d say is, look for places you can sell the shovel while people are digging for gold
with the whole AI craze, the people building AI wrappers weren’t the ones getting rich but rather the ones building the underlying tech that allowed it to be easily done
any idea around these - it’s ALREADY validated, there’s tons of people making money with them, and no, they’re not saturated
you just need to find your edge (like listkit did with triple verified leads) and you can grab market share
the same way instantly did by offering unlimited inboxes for $97/mo instead of pay per inbox
there’s always an edge, you just need to find it
if you’re interested in one of these ideas, but maybe you don’t know how to build it, or you are lacking direction and want some help
book a strategy call with my team and they’ll walk you through the process and see if you’re a good fit to build one of these ideas with my team
this DOES require capital - it is not for beginners, this is for advanced entrepreneurs or people that may have good corporate experience (maybe consulting) looking to start a SaaS
talk soon,
