The Reason You're Not Wealthy

This weekend I was at a business event in Tampa as I was speaking about growing on social media

there were a couple hundred people there and it was a wide spectrum of entrepreneurs

on one side, you had people making five to ten thousand dollars per month

on the other side, you had people making $20M/year and even one guy with a 9 figure net worth

and in between, there were people making anywhere from 50 to 200k per month

and the most interesting part to me was, even when someone doing $20m/yr was speaking, he didn’t talk about anything I didn’t already know

you see there was only ONE variable that was the difference between each level of revenue

and that variable is time

the guy worth $100m had been in business the longest, for over a decade

the guy doing $20m/yr started in 2017

most of the people doing $100-$200k/m had started 4-5 years ago

and the people doing 5-10k/m had started a year ago or less

time is the great distinguisher

whoever can play the game the longest, wins.

so when you see all these people making all this money (or claiming to) understand they’re not smarter, or different in any way

they’ve just been consistent over a longer period of time than you
