The Levels of Making Money

There’s different phases of making money

level 1: freelancer

you start off learning one skill and getting customers through usually just one channel

this is where you can make 5-10k per month but basically tap out around there

but this is where everyone starts, this is going 0→1 and often the hardest especially without any direction

Level 2: Agency

to grow your freelancing biz, you hire someone under you to fulfill the service and you focus on getting more clients

slowly you make more and more hires

this can be run pretty easily as a lifestyle biz between 30-50k per month, but it can scale much further, but past 100k/m adds a lot of additional stress and headaches that it depends on you as a person if it’s worth it

Level 3: SaaS / Ecom

these business models people normally get into once they have some business acumen and are now focused on building enterprise value more than cashflow

a lot of the same principles apply from running an agency (at least for SaaS) but now it’s a different means of fulfillment and faster feedback loops

this is where you can begin to build real wealth

Level 4: Private equity / VC

this is where you have a ton of money (normally post exit founders) and now you’re looking to deploy capital into some high risk high reward plays

this is my end goal, but I’m still in level 3

but, we all start at level 1

and the top freelance skill to learn in my opinion is becoming a no code developer

still way more demand for them than the supply in the market

and I can teach you how to build on no code, and how to get customers, and how to move onto the next 2 levels

whether that’s scale into an agency, or build a no code software
