I Built a SaaS in a Week With AI

Over Christmas break I was sick for a few days and had a little too much time on my hands, and was experimenting with all of the new AI tools
I wanted to build a new software that would make business owners more money, I have a few criteria that I require for any software idea I will ever start
It must be B2B and make business owners more money, save them money, or save them time, ideally make them more money
I must be able to charge $50/mo or more, and ideally the pricing scales up with the size of the business you’re selling to (usage based pricing or seat based)
Business owners should be upset if I were to take the product away with them
It should be a product that can be sold to a massive TAM
It should have some competitors that are doing well (validate the idea)
so I took my criteria and I told Claude to give me some ideas, and I stumbled upon one that was essentially adding a widget to websites to let prospects start calls instantly, making the speed to lead faster, and hence making businesses more money
now my rule for this, was I need to spend less than 1 hour a day on this, because my time is spent elsewhere right now and so I cannot give this more than an hour per day
I generated a product requirement document with claude, and gave it to a CTO that builds with claude / cursor and built an MVP in a week (yes a week)
then I found a sales rep and taught him a simple instagram DM strategy to target info product owners to use this software (easiest to sell to, and one sale would be a massive ROI for them)
we launched on legit Jan 1, and I will now attach the MRR graph today below

almost $2,000 in MRR in less than 3 weeks with less than an hour a day from my own efforts, just from following a proven system that works
Validated idea
Build a bare bones MVP quickly and affordably (partner with CTO)
Use validated outreach strategies (free)
now that we have some money coming in, we can hire more sales reps, run ads, start cold email, etc.
