How to Print $ With Mobile Apps
real case study
Mobile apps have come to be one of the greatest gold rushes of 2026 and I feel like no one talked about them for the longest time
Why? Probably because in the past it was EXPENSIVE to build a mobile app and you needed $30,000 - $50,000 just to get it on the app store
Then you had marketing expenses and more and you still don’t know if it would work….
Today? It is literally like drop shipping in 2020 and I’m going to give you the playbook and prove that I’m following it myself
In drop shipping you hear “you just need to find a winning product” and people would use spy tools to find products that are RIPPING and then you’d launch a store selling the same product and try to market it differently or better
and you’d rinse and repeat products until you found your winner and you could do that because it was so fast and affordable to spin up stores with Shopify
Enter Vibe Coding Tools
Now the same is true for building mobile apps, now it is not AS EASY to build mobile apps and get them live on the app store
it is still challenging even with tools like CodeX and it’s why you should still learn how to use these tools from an expert
but the process is the same, find an idea that is RIPPING - these usually solve a niche problem
Cal ai (help people track calories / lose weight)
Menufit (help people find healthiest option eating out / lose weight)
Brainrot (help people reduce screentime / more productive)
They all solve a problem, and sell a benefit as well and these 3 apps are ripping (it’s really easy to find apps doing well just go look on Sensortower)
I’ve been seeing ads for Brainrot app EVERYWHERE on my tik tok, they’re for sure doing 6 figs a month and so it’s validated, and who doesn’t have a scrolling problem?
So we quickly built an MVP — you can check it out here
Once the app was done — all you have to do is test content formats until you find one that works
now works does not equal views, work = downloads → conversions
so we warmed up an IG account and began testing formats, and this week, we found our winner
this split screen style video of “Using Scroll vs no scroll” is getting views, and it also got us our first couple organic sales
now as you can see almost every post going forward is in this format, and now we can hire micro creators to replicate this same format
then we can put ad spend behind the top organic performers
and this is the playbook, this app will be at 10k MRR very soon and it’s not because we’re geniuses, it’s literally just following a playbook that has been molded from our actual experiences
if you didn’t know, I have run a software development agency for the last 3 years and we build mobile and web apps for people and help them grow it
It’s expensive, I won’t lie, usually 15-20k for us to build your product and help you grow it, and we can only work with 3 people every 6 weeks due to the nature of it
and many people want to work with us but can’t afford it or we already hit capacity, so we open sourced the entire playbook of how we
