How to Grow Apps FAST
from someone who just got 1,000 users in 10 days
alright buckle up because this email is going to be a no fluff guide to how to find success in building mobile apps or SaaS companies as quickly as possible
so without further ado (?) let’s begin
Step 1: Start With Marketing
I actually recommend people to start with finding good marketing, and then working backwards to find their idea…
so what you’re going to do is start a fresh tik tok account, and you’re going to search for things you’re interested, for example, health, and you’ll engage with posts you genuinely like
eventually, you’re going to find patterns in what’s working for marketing in the health space and you may even find some products
but let’s take one trend for example, I see a lot of people talk about the carnivore diet, so you could make an app that shows meal instructions for the carnivore diet, and helps people stick to it
this also plays into the trend of people eating steak and eggs off of a wooden board, so you know those hooks will perform
this is how you start with the marketing that you know works, and then reverse engineer to get the idea
Design:
Designing your prototype has never been easier, you can use something like 99 designs where people compete to make the best design for you
but you can also just use text to app tools like create(dot)xyz to do it, you just type in plain english what you want it to build and it’ll do it
you can even paste screenshots of user interfaces you like and have it remake that and then make the tweaks you want
refine this until you get to an end design you like, keep it super simple, easy to use and make sure you have a proper onboarding flow that get’s users to share your product and also shows how easy it is to use
Building it:
you have really 3 options here to then actually get it built
1) learn how to build on flutterflow (will take few weeks)
2) pay a developer (5-10k most likely if solid dev)
3) Partner with a dev on an equity split
there’s no “correct” option, each one has it’s place but if you learn how to build it yourself, to build it, and also market it, and run the operations is a lot for one person to do
Gaining Users:
since we started with marketing first, when you launch, you already know what types of videos will work, so you will start with yourself making videos, and quickly scale to bulk creating accounts and using ai tools to mass produce content
and then scaling by loading your creator budget to Payd and having bulk creators post about your app for a set amount per 1,000 views
and then have a viral flywheel to get people to share it, this is how Payd got over 1,000 downloads in 10 days, and the majority of downloads are from search and referrals, not from my brand
and I’m going to break this all down in depth, in a 90 minute live masterclass this upcoming Monday, February 17th at 7PM EST which also happens to be my birthday
so I may even have a few surprises
if you want to attend, there’s only 250 live spots, you can register below
hope to see you there,
