How to Create an AI Software Business

a bit ago I did a challenge where I saw how quickly I could:

build a no code software product & get my first customer

WITHOUT using much capital (under $100) and without using my audience to get customers

the result? took 1 day to build it and on day 4 I got my first customer

Here’s how to do the same, but first, the tools we’ll need:

1. Softr to create your landing page and user interface (make it look pretty)

2. OpenAI account and API key

3. myaskai to train a model based off prompts and completions

we need an account to only those 3, softr has free plans, openAI you’ll need the $20/mo version, and myaskai is cheap

so now, what are we building?

we are using the same model chatGPT is built off of, but we are fine tuning it to data we select or create for a more specific use case we choose

so I fine tuned it to write linkedin posts that sound similar to top linkedin influencers like Alex Hormozi

so what I did, was I created 200+ prompts and completions in a google sheet (get the template from myaskai) that looked like this

“pasted a linkedin post from Alex Hormozi on this topic”

it looked like this

then, inside myaskai, connect your OpenAI account (through API key) and train the model (click a button) once it’s done your new trained model will show up in your OpenAI playground

now, we have the product, but we need to make it pretty to sell

go into Softr → integrations and connect to OpenAI via API key and connect stripe to accept payments

then we need to build 3 pages

1. landing page with pricing (to send prospects too)

2. log in / sign up page

3. AI page (with the product)

Softr is literally drag and drop so you’ll go to blocks → dynamic to create the log in and sign up page

the pricing block I believe is under static

and finally the “AI” block is under static

you’ll go to add block → static → AI → OpenAI and add the block and connect your fine tuned model

then you can just play around with the design and colors to make it look pretty, add your stripe products, and you’re ready to get a customer

here’s how I got mine: I joined Facebook groups full of my ideal prospects (business owners) and I would post value and in the middle plug my software as a means to implement the value

so I’d make a post like “here’s how to leverage AI on linkedin to save time content marketing” and I’d plug my AI linkedin post generator in the middle and on day 4, boom, customer.
