Can I Be Honest With You?

Listen, I know how you may be feeling, you follow all these people online, you’re subscribed to different newsletters

everyone is telling you something different, you don’t know who to believe, you don’t know what the best business model is, and you’re overwhelmed

so, here’s the truth: there’s no best business model, and they all work

I truly think there’s two pieces that you just need to look at when you’re picking a route

1) does it match up with your personality / who you are as a person

for example, some people just should be creators, they’re creative, they love marketing, they hate backend stuff, and it makes sense for them

if you’re a person like this, it doesn’t make sense for you to go outside of your zone of genius and go become a technical person or run an agency

2) The longevity of the model with rapidly changing times

making content isn’t going anywhere and it’s only going to get bigger, so again, a creator is a good route

now let’s take something like running facebook ads, used to be popular, but now there’s AI that can do it for you and will only get better

I wouldn’t have conviction in pursuing that long term right now

mobile apps are blowing up right now because they’re getting easier to build and easier to market with viral social media marketing

so yes, I do think the two best ways to make money right now are still in SaaS/Apps and being a creator

but ultimately it’s up to you to decide what’s right for you
