Alex Hormozi Taught me This

I was scrolling tik tok last night because I’m a normal human too

and I come across a Hormozi podcast clip

and he essentially said

Entrepreneurship is hard

because it takes SO much effort to start and get off the ground

and you here people telling you that it’s dumb, or you won’t make it big, it’s cringe, etc

and for a while those people are right

after a month? you haven’t made it big, they’re still right

after 3 months? they’re still right

after 6 months? they’re still right

after a year? they’re STILL right

but ultimately, they’re wrong

because they’re counting in months and we’re counting in years and decades

and to me this was one of his most powerful clips I’ve seen

it took me 3 years to be able to move to Miami

and now I’m going on year 5, and I do well, I don’t know if I’d say I made it big or not yet, but now the thought of where I will be in another 5 years is so exciting

and once you adopt that mindset of being okay with all the naysayers being “right” for some time and not caring and pushing onwards anyway

is when you can win
