AI + No Code Killed Software
I'll put the fries in the bag
AI + No Code has absolutely killed software, what used to take weeks or months to build can now be done in only a few days
the “tech moat” is gone and people are getting tired of paying $100/mo for a software when now they can clone it and run it for much less
this is a GIANT industry… people are cloning popular but over priced softwares and undercutting them and stealing market share that way
I mean imagine you have $1,000/mo in software costs and you can bring it down to $100/mo total by cloning a bunch of softwares using AI + no code
now is software actually dead? No, of course not but there will be / have been some changes in my opinion
1) Marketing is now everything, the only moat you can build now is around marketing and data
people no longer (or at least rarely) acquire companies because they have crazy tech, it’s for their user base and any relevant data
you NEED to get good at marketing, point blank simple you need to understand how to capture attention, and build a brand
viral mobile apps are big right now - they’re easy to make using Flutterflow (a no code platform but it uses flutter which is google’s programming language so you can export the code) and if you’re good at marketing on tik tok and can hire creators you can print cash with these right now
if you want to learn how to build using flutterflow, click here to apply to be coached through the Ambitious Labs academy
it’s got tons of pre recorded video content inside of a completely custom learning platform, with a trained AI to answer all your questions, and office hours with coaches a couple times per week
2) Speed is increasingly more important
you should have some level of understanding on how to use these AI and no code tools to build them quickly
you don’t HAVE to become a tech wizard, but you should at minimum understand how to use a tool like replit / cursor to even wire frame etc
3) Prices are becoming more elastic
most of these software’s people are building aren’t inelastic, meaning, they’re tired of paying for over priced softwares and WILL switch to a cheaper clone purely for the price
this can be an opportunity for you to capitalize on or it can hurt you if you neglect this
ultimately, AI + No Code have drastically shifted the software space QUICKLY in the last year and so you need to be on top of it
I hope you enjoyed this email and found it insightful
Happy Wednesday
