Advice For This Week (Election)

tomorrow is the election day and it’s probably pretty safe to say that tensions are feeling high

Can’t watch tv or go on social media without being bombarded with advertisements, and people on both sides sharing their political beliefs

I was at Church yesterday and thought I’d share some lessons from it

1) try to be extra nice & patient this week, people will be acting extra emotional and not exactly rationally - understand this

2) Our pastor ran an interested experiment during the last election, he said, if the person you vote for loses, take someone to coffee that the person they voted for won, and just have a chat over coffee without mentioning politics once

talk about what you like, what drives you, etc, you’ll find that at the end of the day you’re not so different, you don’t think each other are bad people, you just have some views you don’t agree upon

3) We are not divided by being Republican or Democratic, whether Trump or Kamala wins doesn’t change the fact that Jesus is King

that’s my first blurb of advice, after that, remember that you and SOLELY you are in charge of your life

no matter who wins, YOU need to wake up the next day and continue moving the needle towards the life that you want to live

now that we’ve got that out of the way - I’ve been working my butt off behind the scenes on my app I’m building that I haven’t had this much conviction in something in a long time
